Spring Has Sprung! (and I'm springing outta here May 12-22!)

After a rather dreary week, it is no less than gorgeous outside today! I hope everyone is enjoying the last few days of vacation week, it’s definitely been a busy week for me so I know most of you are off having fun adventures (and not having to worry a wink about your furry children at home)!

If you haven’t seen my updates on Facebook or Instagram, I want to make sure everyone sees the dates I will be gone this upcoming month:

I am heading to Los Angeles for the first time since 2019 to see family and friends and to recharge, and then when I get back I head directly to set for a new short film! It has been a while since I’ve been on set and am very much looking forward to it.

For those who don’t know, I went to school in New York City for acting. Running a business has been incredibly rewarding (and time consuming) so I have not been pursuing any opportunities artistically for a while, so when I was approached about this film and this role, I jumped right on the chance to get back to work. I had a costume fitting yesterday and in a little less than a month we will spend four days on set! I’m pumped.

I am also in the beginning stages of hiring my first employee, which is a big step for me and the company. The goal is to build a small but mighty team by the end of the summer! If you have anyone you think would be perfect for the position (only if you would trust your own dog with them!) please send them my way! The position is currently part time but can grow to full time if desired.

I am also going to put this out there in the hopes that it will make me actually follow through, but I would like to start publishing Youtube videos! Days in the life, entrepreneur tips, dog business information, all sorts. A way to combine a lot of the information I learned in my last life of media production, on-camera work, editing, etc - and bring it into my current life! I’m hoping that it might be something of interest; especially since there are so many of you I have only met at the meet and greet, it’s a new way of getting to know the person who is in your house weekly (daily sometimes!) a little better! The first step to this though is making myself do it, and I’m already doing quite a bit on a daily basis so we will see, but it’s a goal! I filmed quite a bit from the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters Conference in New Orleans, so I’ve already got something to share!

If anyone has any questions, please reach out! If you need any recommendations for walkers while I am gone, let me know as the list is long! We are very lucky in this community to have so many professional pet sitters! I am hoping to come back recharged and ready to take summer by storm.
